What we ask for, and why
- An order: your name, so we can call it at the counter; a phone number and an email if you choose to leave them, so we can reach you about it, tell you when it is ready and thank you once you have collected it; a pickup time and a note if you add them.
- A question about an item: your name and how to reach you, so we can answer.
- The punch card: the phone number you give at the counter, which is the card, and how many punches are on it.
We use these to make and hand over your order, answer you, and keep your card. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to send you marketing, and we never text you.
Paying
If you pay online, you pay on Square's or Stripe's own page, into our account. We never see your card details.
Who helps us
Counterly runs this website and our order system for us, and keeps what you give us on our behalf only. Its providers are listed in its privacy notice.
Your browser
No cookies and no tracking. If you place an order, this site keeps its ticket number in your browser, so it is still there if you close the page.
How long, and your say
We keep orders for our own books, and your punch card until you ask us to remove it. Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — at the counter or at hello@ryeandco.example — and we will.
